A dAy In My Shoes

The girls just down the hall, stare and whisper loudly, as I walk back. The boy with the skateboard whisks away but his eyes glued to my face. The class scientist almost knocks me over with his experiment as he hurries through but his head tilts slightly just to have a glance at me. When I eventually open the locker, happily labeled with butterflies shaping my name, I look up to the mirror in front of me and I smile. FINALLY,I had got my perfect accessory – the perfect glow of pure HAPPINESS!
